Surgical Associates of Western New York is one of the largest general surgery practices in the Buffalo, NY area. We have three convenient office locations in West Seneca, Kenmore, and Derby.
Our team of surgeons:
Our practice offers a wide range of surgeries and procedures, including minimally invasive surgery, SILSTM (Single-Incision Laparoscopic Surgery), robotic-assisted surgery, complex hernia repair, and operations using the latest implant devices, to name just a few.
We also provide in-office hemorrhoid treatment, which takes only a few minutes and requires no anesthesia.
Our patients always see their surgeon during office visits. We know how important it is to see your physician before surgery and at subsequent follow-ups. Additionally, at least one of our surgeons is rounding on all of our patients daily, supported by a dedicated team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants who provide great continuity of care.
Our general surgeons have operating privileges at most hospitals and outpatient treatment centers throughout Western New York, including Mercy Hospital, Kenmore Mercy, and the Center for Ambulatory Surgery (an outpatient center) located in our West Seneca office.
Please note Dr. Michael Rade retired from clinical practice in April 2019. Dr. Rade’s general surgery patients will continue to receive care from Surgical Associates’ partners. He is still Chairman of Surgery at Mercy Hospital.
